It’s a beautiful evening here in England. It feels very English, so I finished up work and went to the farm and bought a handful of things to make a salad. Rather then going home right away I decided to drive a little way down the road to Raby Mere to sit there and enjoy the early evening sun while watching ducks on the pond like people have been doing for many years. I love that this place and others like it are so close to my house.
If any of you find yourselves in this neck of the woods be sure and give me a call, well go here feed the ducks then head off to the beach to watch the sunset into the Irish Sea. Sound good to you?

The funny thing about that ruling and similar things here, is that people get up in arms about that, but they pay no attention and have no sense of alarm over the things being done in the name of security. The national ID card, the many many billions going to wars in Iraq and the other wars America is threatening to start, the biometric intrusions done to all foriegn nationals who visit America and the disgraceful detention without trial of prisoners at guantanamo bay. But threaten a persons physical property and all of a sudden you have their attention.
So you may lose your right not to sell your house? Thats a tough break and on top of all the other freedoms you’re slowly losing too. Still, it’s not much different here either.
