This is a great picture! It wasn’t taken by me but by a guy whom I only know as ‘Michi.P’ from Flickr.
Michi.P took the photograph as the plane he was in approached Frankfurt on a flight from his hometown of Vienna. He posted the picture on his Flikr site in October last year.

I just bought a book of aerial photographs of South America. It’s awesome! I really enjoy the different perspective.

I think the picture is of a power station. I have a very similar picture taken on a recent flight into Frankfurt airport myself. However, this picture kicks the proverbial ass of the one I took in which the cloud cover was not as low or as blanket covering.
