Definitely not a waste of time! That video was amazing, but also disturbing at parts. I never knew half of that information. (And the music was really good :D)

In seeing all that info about the exponential increase in technology I was reminded of MLK’s quote, “Our scientific power has outrun our spiritual power. We have guided missiles and misguided men.” I certainly hope that in the future there will be some geeks, such as myself, that are drawn to studying the humanities, so that in the midst of all the power that technology will bring us, questions regarding its wise use and how it is affecting us will be raised and addressed.
That is one of my favorite all time quotes Anthony. I have a little book I write great quotes in, terribly old fashioned of me I know, you know to actually write stuff with an implement, but I do and it’s in that book. :-)

What a world we live in huh. We carefully avoid eye contact with strangers while communicating with people across the globe using facebook, twitter and IM. How far we’ve come.

It’s hard to believe that music is nearly 13 years old already! ‘Right Here, Right Now‘ by Fatboy Slim from 1996.
