Continuing my ‘Game on’ series of posts how about this old classic – Pacman!
You can’t really talk about retro computer games and not mention Pacman. Now I have to confess that Pacman wasn’t a favorite of mine, but Karen mentioned she loved this game, or at the very least wasted a lot of time playing it years ago, so how could I not post this web version of the game?
Have a play and see what high score you can reach, but remember to mute this if you’re in work – you don’t want to get busted now do you!?
I’ve improved my Space Invaders score since posting the game last week. Though one person who will remain nameless has mentioned to me that she has achieved a high score of 56440 so far – that’s pretty impressive, if a little on the OCD side of things.
Work can wait, take a little ‘you time’ and play Pacman. I won’t tell if you don’t!

yay pacman! i was actually just playing this version yesterday… my only complaint is that the ghosts seem to get too smart too fast… sounds weird, but if you play it maybe you’ll know what i mean?
56440 on space invaders!!! omg… that’s something to live up to. I think the OCD really depends though on how long it took her to get that absolutely amazing score.

Yeah Genie I’ve seen that table. Last time I was there a couple of guys were involved in a real humdinger on a tournament on it with crowds of people standing around and cheering!

I love Pacman! My only complaint is that the board doesn’t change. I used to play this one with all kinds of different styles to take Pacman through. My all-time favorite will always be Ms. Pacman though, the little cherry on her head is stylin’!
Oh, and as long as you’re posting games, the next one should be Frogger!

I played a round – I find I don’t have the patience for it any more but thanks for posting it.
