So I’ve been watching ‘Lost‘ since it began in 2004, and now in it’s final season I’m none the wiser as to what the hell is going on. In essence, I too am utterly lost.
So here’s the thing; I have forgotten more questions about ‘Lost’ that I can remember. The show has confused the hell out me, and now it seems the characters are shifting through time and alternate universes or something.
So far it seems Jon Locke in dead, but he isn’t. Jack’s Father is dead, but is also alive maybe. Sweet little Claire has become a bunny boiler. Sawyer is a cop. Richard is Peter Pan. Hugo is getting fatter despite spending years on a desert island. Jack and Sawyer’s stubble never ever grows, and nobodies hair has grown either.
There are a few theories floating around about what the heck is happening, some suggest that everyone is actually dead or in some kind of purgatory. At this stage though, I wouldn’t be altogether surprised if it all ended up being another narcoleptic episode of some woman from Dallas!
I’m pretty sure that the script writers won’t answer all of the questions. For example; Why did the DHARMA Initiative have robotic sharks? Why did Walt have special powers? And who did Horace work for?
I’m still enjoying the show, but each time I get to the end of the latest episode I’m always left with the same question, the one it seems that those in the TV show have asked over and over themselves as demonstrated in the video below.
So, do you have questions or a theory about what the heck is happening in ‘Lost?’

I have no idea what’s going on. It seems like in the end it’ll be a good (Jacob people) vs Bad (dead Lock people) in some sort of show down. I have little doubt that the end will be a let down, they’ve built it up for so long there is no way they can meet expectations. I’ll still watch it, but I look forward to it being done.

I too think the end will be a let down. For me, I’ve enjoyed the journey so much, the destination doesn’t really matter. The last episode answered the question of why people kept seeing dead people in the forest. There have been lots of little answers like that popping up all through this season.
The next episode is supposed to be a corker and answers one of the really big questions, episode 14 I think it is.

Oh and for anyone looking for a new show to watch and you enjoyed the shield and sopranos, have a watch of Sons of Anarchy, from the producers of the shield and writer of sopranos.

i’m totally with you on this. what the crap is going on? I liked last season — i was totally, totally into it. this season was super crappy so far, UNTIL they brought desmond back. i’m back into it. although i can’t remember what happened to faraday, which bothers me.
yeah, they have a LOT of loose ends to tie up which i dont hink they will – like Walt, for example. i kept waiting for them to do something with him, to explain something, and they never did. what a bummer.

I wonder if there is a lost/flashforward connection?

Were still waiting for the last series here in Cyprus tho. I suppose I could access (make the effort) to get the series from some other means! You know I think it will be all sorted n explained in the last eight mins of the final episode, which will make us all think that if we had just had the exposure to the eight mins from each series we would now have the house decorated or obtain that Masters Degree however we all got LOST into something else!

I watched Flash Forward’s pilot show and though the acting was SO bad I simply didn’t make it to the end of the show! It was like a low budget Lost knock-off :-)

Have you heard that the final episode is two and a half hours long!

They’re killing people off now, so you know it’s nearing the end. A two a a half hour finale though? My word, that surely can’t be true.

I hear ya.
I still enjoy Lost, but mainly I continue watching so I can find out how it ends. I’ve really lost track of the plot the last couple seasons. At the moment I can’t say I have a clue what’s going on.
