366 PICTURES – THE UNSEEN – DAY 8
I’ve taken a lot of pictures of abandoned technology. I’m strangely fascinated by these homeless objects that once served an important role in someone’s home but now find themselves condemned to the street.
I took this picture back in March on the very same day that I posted a similar picture of a homeless TV. The photograph I used on 366 pictures was of a less street embattled TV. It appeared across the road from where I was staying in Richmond, and it stayed there for a few days.
That night, I wrote a brief monologue from the point of view of the homeless TV. I was just playing with the idea that the TV had fallen on hard times, and that “it wasn’t always like this.” Nobody commented on that post at all.

Hey there Simon. I like this picture a lot. It looks like you took it in my neighborhood, though I am a long way from Australia.
You’re a sun chaser really, aren’t you? ;-)
