I spotted this sign over the weekend at a place not far from where I live that is fenced off from walkers. The sign on the left says “Wildfowl Reserve : Established and maintained within the fenced area since 1964 by the Dee Wildfowlers and Wetlands Management Club.” While the sign clearly states this is a Military firing range!
We really know how to look after our wildfowl here. We give them there own bit of land, fence it off, then let the army bomb the hell out of them!

Ah yes, we did indeed to that. The stroy goes that I was in Liverpool one afternoon when the IRA supposedly planted a bomb in the gallery I was working in. The whole city centre got sealed off and the army sent in a little robot to blow up this suspicious samsunite case in a controlled explosion.
After the incident was over we returned to the offices where I found a whole role of ‘police line – do not cross’ tape. I picked it up and put it in my bag thinking it might be fun to do stuff with it.
In the following months we closed various roads and bridges, motorways and public parks. Each time we drew chalk lines around each other and circles where the ‘shells’ had fallen :-)
I’ll see if I can find a picture. I know I took one of my apartment building when we sealed the entrance to it off after someone supposedly jumped from the top floor :-)

Maybe the land is timeshared…ducks don’t really stick around when the mercury drops anyhow.

Hey thewrathofawomanscorned, I’m trying to figure you out. Are you being nasty there or just laughing kuz the image of a guy in a bubble bath is amsuing to you somehow? I guess it could go either way?
Nonetheless, I am a proud bubble bath supporter. You might go as far as to call me a bubblebatherian. If there was a club where all those who enjoyed bubble baths could go and enjoy them together, I’d be right there bubble bathing with the best of them!
